Therefore, it is imperative to identify challenges and solve them in order to be able to apply Smart Factory effectively.<\/p>\n<h2>People and skill issues<\/h2>\n<p>The issue of resources and technical potential of resources in the process of technology application is extremely important. Because in order to successfully implement new technologies and keep them going, a company needs resources with the ability to digitally capture, understand manufacturing processes, and the digital tools that support those processes.<\/p>\n<h2>Quality and sensitivity of the data<\/h2>\n<p>Quality of privacy, ownership, and management of data worries many business owners in the digital age of 4.0. Successful implementation of an AI algorithm, for example, requires data to train and test it. This means data must be shared, but many companies do not want to share their data with third-party solution developers.<\/p>\n<h2>Security and information security are a major concern<\/h2>\n<p>The fusion of physical and digital systems in a smart factory (Smart Factory) makes real-time interoperability possible, but it comes with smart security. With multiple machines and devices connected to one or more networks in the smart factory, vulnerabilities in any of those devices can open doors for hackers to attack.<\/p>\n<p>Companies will need to anticipate both enterprise system vulnerabilities and machine-level operational vulnerabilities.
